I am so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. I, along with my sisters, took care of my mom, Marie. She was dad’s neighbor in the adjacent building. He would drop off a lottery ticket for mom, now and then, and visit with her, since she was housebound. She was sad when he moved out. I hope he enjoyed being close to family. He was a good man.

Steve and Lori, Woke up this morning to your dad smiling back at me in the paper. Made me remember all of the times he made you and I laugh Steve when we were in high school. So sorry for your families’ loss, but it sure looks like you all have fond memories to keep forever.

Well Richard, we shared a classroom for 12 years plus a hallway at Purdue for one, and we've kept in touch on and off since then. Of all that time, I remember "stay overs" during grade school most vividly. I can still see you grooming yourself, nude, in front of a full length mirror. How did we ever become "normal"? (don't worry, Dick's laughing, too.

Steve, Kelli and I send our sincere condolences. Your Dad was a great guy and will be watching over you and your family. One of my fondest memories was when you and your Dad went with me and my Dad to the Bears/Colts game in Chicago. We walked around the entire stadium before we got to our seats and he let me hear about it. I can still hear him now saying how tired he was. Dicks Picks will be missed. God Bless.

Dick and I were school buddies and lived close to each other on Alyea Street before his family moved to the west edge of town. I guess you could say we were best friends although I haven't seen him in many years, I think at one of the HHS Class of 55 reunions. My wife was in Dick's class. We spent a lot of time in the old feed store playing basketball and climbing on the stacks of bagged seeds. Sorry I will not be able to attend service as I am isolating with Covid. My best to you all.
