JUDY D. JOHNSON (nee Thomas), age 75 of Merrilville, formerly of Hobart, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Blayne) Cecconi; son, Bobby (Paula) Johnson; four grandchildren: Elisha (Nito) Robledo, Kyle (fiancée Samantha) Johnson, Corey (Allison) Johnson, and Kaitlin (Jon) Stepp; five great-grandchildren: Alexis, Aubrianna, Ava, and Damon Robledo, and Wesley Johnson; sister, Sandra (Rick) Eastling; brother, Dale (Linda) Thomas; and her loving nieces and nephews.  She is preceeded in death by her parents, Rex and Carol Thomas and brother, Lee Thomas.

Judy was a graduate of Crown Point High School, Class of 1961.  She was a former member of First Christian Church in Dyer and also enjoyed attending services at Grace Fellowship Church in DeMotte.  She enjoyed bingo, bunco, and pinochle.  Judy loved the Lord and all those around her.  She will be deeply missed.

Family and friends may gather at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service (881 E. Franciscan Dr, Crown Point) on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 P.M.  A Celebration of Judy’s Life will immediately follow from Pruzin & Little Chapel at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Evonne Williams officiating.
